The “Jurisdiction Armenia” Foundation (JAF) was established by the Decision of the Government of the Republic of Armenia in December 2016, while the provisions of the “Jurisdiction Armenia” Program (JAP) were adopted.
 

In order to create an attractive environment in Armenia, humanitarian factors (progressive education, rich cultural life, sufficiently clean food and nature, an adequate level of medicine and security, affordable and convenient infrastructure and services, affordable and developed telecommunications) that are present in Armenia should be taken into account and are a competitive advantage of the country. In order to attract foreign companies to Armenia, the JA Program is primarily aimed at improving business factors, i.e. fiscal, financial, judicial and registration areas.

 

Overall, JAF is working to further improve the legislation of Armenia in terms of increasing the attractiveness of Armenia for a greater inflow of foreign legal entities and people affiliated with latter (in particular, on the promotion of legislative initiatives governing the creation and activities of international holdings, trusts, etc.).

                                                                          

The aim of JAF is to attract foreign legal entities, experts, unique specialists, project organizers, initiators to Armenia and through the use of various tools, facilitate their relocation to Armenia, and also to assist the RA Government in increasing the competitiveness of the Armenian economy.

 

Although JAF was established by Decision of the Government of Armenia, the Foundation is not receiving any funding from the state budget. Funding is provided through private donors, project grants and management fees.
